LEADERSHIP

Shehla Akbani – President and CEO

Shehla Akbani has over 10 years of combined experience in healthcare and IT. She has worked with healthcare organizations applying her knowledge of EMR (electronic medical records) to maximize revenues for them. She is an EPIC Certified trainer. In her last position, she travelled across Midwest imparting training to workers in Epic, which has now become the gold standard of EMR for large hospitals.

Shehla has Bachelor of Arts from Peshawar University. She joined the firm in 2002 as a Vice President. She was promoted to President and CEO in 2009 and has been leading the firm since then.

Saeed Akbani – Senior Vice President and COO

Saeed Akbani is a technology leader with 20+ years of experience in product development and consulting. He has held senior positions at world class organizations like PwC, IBM, and EDS, where he worked with customers helping them create value through cost cutting and revenue enhancing initiatives. During his career he has successfully led numerous strategic initiatives for his clients and past employers delivering complex systems on time and within budget. During his career, he has worked with numerous clients in different industries such as automotive, warehousing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, healthcare, and utilities.

Saeed obtained his MBA from Olin School of Business at Washington University, St. Louis. He also holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Washington University.

IT Infrastructure Services

Under Infrastructure Service offering, we take care of clients’ digital assets and keep their business functioning optimally. Its includes, PCs, servers, smart phones, tablets, network, emails, disaster recovery. Also included are Cloud Computing services (example Cloud Servers), Exchange Hosting , and Security Risk Assessment for Healthcare clients.

Application Services

As part of our Application Services, we build custom software solutions for our clients, and maintain existing software applications for them at extremely cost-effective rates. The maintenance typically includes working with the customer to triage requirements and regularly scheduled releases that contain bug fixes and enhancements. Exchange Hosting

We offer Exchange hosting as part of our Infrastructure Services . Exchange offers many productivity benefits over regular POP mail such as syncing between various devices, calendar sharing just to name a few. However, implementing Exchange -in-house is an expensive and time consuming task. When clients sign up with us, the implemention is seamless, and they have access to Exchange in about 24 hours.

HIPAA Security Risk Assessment

Our niche service specifically tailored for healthcare customers dealing in electronic PHI (protected health information) that want to be in compliance with HIPAA Security Rule: 45 CFR 164.308. This rule requires healthcare organizations to conduct an assessment on the measures in place for the security and protection of patient information. Our assessment is typically 2-3 days in duration at the end of which clients receive repot on assessment which documents security vulnerabilities. As a follow up, we then work with our clients to address and mitigate vulnerabilities discovered during the assessment.

Staffing and Placement

We work with select clients and help them in finding the right IT talents for their full-time positions as well as temporary contract positions (staff augmentation).
